World Getting Smaller

The world is becoming a smaller place which is bringing U.S. citizens and people from overseas countries, who used to seem so far away, closer together. This is mainly because of the ease of communicating with others through social media and other forms of internet communication including on-line dating. It now seems like people from overseas countries are really not that far away.

It is now easier to travel overseas to more different countries than it used to be.  For example, there are many fewer travel restrictions to overseas countries than there used to be. Only a few years ago, it would have been unthinkable to travel to many places. In particular, travel was restricted to places like Vietnam, China, former Soviet Union countries like Russia and many more places.  Similarly, look now what is happening in Cuba which has just recently opened up to travel for U.S. citizens.

It is becoming less expensive to travel on a budget. For example, there are more international airlines which has made international flights more cost competitive. The internet has also made traveling on a budget more cost effective because of competition for bookings and the ease of finding the best deal.

For our new global economy, the world is also becoming closer economically. In fact, U.S. workers and other U.S. citizens are now easily communicating with people from foreign countries every day. In addition, many U.S. citizens are now working in foreign countries including overseas as their companies expand to new opening markets and labor sources.
