Using USTravelDocs Website
Search for your Visa and Passport
At this time, we show you how to track US Visa using USTravelDocs website.
Firstly, go to the USTravelDocs website.
Secondly, choose your specific regional location by clicking on the map:
- North America
- The Caribbean
- Central America
- South America
- The Pacific
Following that, a pop-up window appears showing different countries in that region with US embassies. Accordingly, select your country from the pop-up window.
Frequently, another pop-up window opens. This pop-up window asks, “Is this your first time applying for a visa and/or visiting our site?”. Answer “No” here.
Afterwards, it takes you to the “Apply for US Visa” page for your or your partner’s country.
Now, scroll down on this same page to the section “Non-Immigrant Visa“. Then, select or click on “Retrieve my passport/visa“. This is specifically where you track US Visa using USTravelDocs
For some reason, this is only under non-immigrant visa. In fact, this is even if you are getting an immigrant visa. Remember, a K-1 Fiance Visa is a non-immigrant visa. On the other hand, an IR-1 or CR-1 Spouse Visa is an immigrant visa.
Anyhow, for everyone, select “Retrieve my passport/visa” under the non-immigrant section.

Some embassy’s give you a link to your country’s specific courier. For this purpose, your country’s embassy courier may have their own web tracking system that you may also use. For example, the Philippines uses a courier “ToGo“. Soon, I will do a separate blog article on using “ToGo” to track your passport and visa since we had experience with that system.
Collecting Your Passport and Visa
Scroll down further and the USTravelDocs page also gives you information on collecting your passport and visa. For example, this example is from one specific country. See your country’s information specifically for your situation.
For example, most couriers email or text you when they are about to deliver your visa package. In addition, they also email or text you if you chose to pick it up at the designated office.
Moreover, make sure that you have the necessary identification and documents to sign for and receive the visa package. If the package is not picked up in a reasonable amount of time, then it is returned to the embassy.
Once you get your visa package, open the outer clear package and retrieve your passport and the sealed immigration package.
Very Important: Do not open the sealed manila immigration package. This MUST remain sealed until you reach the U.S. Port of Entry where a U.S. Customs officer opens the package.
Now, book your tickets to the United States.
